APPEARANCE: Standing just a smidge over five feet, Thaddeus is somewhat on the smaller side for a Miqo'te. His skin is a grey hue, while his hair, tail, and ears are a sharp cobalt color streaked with white. He's got an athletic to lean build thanks to a pirating and surfing lifestyle. Often found with his sunglasses or piloting goggles.PERSONALITY: Quirky and odd, Thaddeus embraces a fun-loving and mirthful mantra with life, though thirsts for adventures and thrill. He can often be found getting into trouble and can tend to go overboard with drinking and illegal herbs. A pirate captain's son, Thaddeus enjoys treasure and money but doesn't like the snobby rich variety.

Thaddeus's adoptive father and the rightful owner of Thaddeus's airship. Clark is a captain of his own pirating crew that sails out of Limsa and is notorious for their fair conditions yet successful raids and jobs. He continues to serve as a mentor and teacher for Thaddeus.
Ching Shing
While they used to be enemies and rivals, their respect for one another has grown into a strong friendship. Ching now serves as Thaddeus's First Mate on his ship. Her gruff and piratey-ways are a perfect balance to his quirky personality.
Feryal de Maintigny
A countess that hails from Ishgard, Feryal used to solely be an eager investor to Thaddeus's crazy dreams and whims. After so much together, she's come to act as a surrogate aunt/older sister.
Kocchi Miga
Redefining the term 'alley cat', this Miqo'te tends to have sticky fingers around the Limsan docks. Need to find something or someone? Kocchi's your friendly neighborhood thief who always seems to have his finger on society's pulse. Him and Thaddeus have been bestfriends since childhood and continue to develop a close relationship.
From Limsa or the Mists?
Maybe your character is from Limsa or lives in the same neighborhood as Thaddeus. He was raised in a quiet section of the Mists with his family, surrounded by his father's pirate crew. It's possible they were childhood friends, rivals, new neighbors, etc!

Thaddeus's father is a renowned pirate captain of a crew that's stacked up an impressive list of feats and jobs. Maybe your pirate or outlaw character is an ally. Maybe they were rivals and you're looking to settle a score. Or maybe your character is law-abidding and trying to make good on a bounty and finally try to arrest him.
Voidsent, you said?
While I don't want to give away too much on Thaddeus's background, his birth clan originates from the South Shroud and is heavily involved in voidsent magic. Thaddeus himself is just learning about these connections and how intimately it impacts him. Is your character a voidsent hunter? There's a possibility they might've caught wind of this voidsent-worshipping clan. Or maybe your character is a voidsent scholar and wants the chance to study voidsent in the flesh. Both are great hooks!
Writer's Notes
Schedule
At the end of the day, no matter what, RL always comes first. I work in the medical industry with a large caseload and so my scheduling can be difficult at times. I'm also a pretty big gym buff and spend about two hours a day at the gym. I understand, and would hope other writers understand, the need for allowance for RL things. RP to me is the dessert at the buffet. It's not something that should be overindulged and I strongly encourage and prefer a healthy dose of RL social exposure.I enjoy sleep and try to cut myself off from computer time around 10-11pm EST during the week. Sometimes I'm available during the day. It all depends on the week!
Rivals/Conflicts
YES YES YES. I love conflict rp and some good rivalry going on. I keep open communication with writers to make sure that there are clear separation of OOC/IC and hope the same to be done.
